We use high-performance local storage to save your animal compendium progress, quiz results, unlocked species, and app settings. This data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

To enable Augmented Reality, the App requires access to your device’s camera. The video feed is processed locally in real-time for spatial tracking and 3D rendering. We do not record, stream, or store any camera data or imagery on any remote server.

The App requires permission to play audio to provide authentic animal sounds and feedback. We do not access or record audio from your device’s microphone.

When you use the Capture feature, the resulting image is saved directly to your app's internal Library. You can choose to share the photos outside the app. We cannot view, modify, or delete your existing photos outside.

We use Google Firebase (Analytics, Performance, and Crashlytics) to collect anonymous analytics and technical data (e.g., device model, OS version, and crash logs). This helps us to built needed features, optimize 3D rendering and fix bugs. We have explicitly disabled the collection of Advertising Identifiers (IDFA/AAID) in our code.

Using Augmented Reality requires physical movement. Users should always be aware of their surroundings. Animal Compendium 3D is not liable for any physical injury, property damage, or accidents resulting from the use of AR features. Parents must supervise children during AR play.

Users must not use the AR features in potentially dangerous environments, such as near traffic, on balconies, or while walking. Ensure the area is clear of physical obstacles and trip hazards.

The App is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind regarding the accuracy of biological facts or 3D model representations.

We use industry-standard encryption for local storage and secure HTTPS protocols for communication with Firebase. We encourage parents to use device-level security (Passcodes/Biometrics) to protect the data stored on the device.

Anonymous diagnostic data sent to Firebase is retained for the minimum period necessary for technical analysis (typically 14 months) before being automatically deleted. All local data remains on your device until you choose to delete the App.

The App is managed from India, and anonymous diagnostic data is processed on Firebase servers in the United States. By using the App, you acknowledge this transfer of anonymous technical data.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in features or legal requirements. We will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
